The Story - Christmas Spirit tells the story of 9 year old Jo, and of her quest to find the true meaning of Christmas Spirit. On her journey she encounters a whole host of colourful and curious characters, who may or may not have the answers to the meaning of Christmas! This is a touching, funny and thought provoking musical play, set in the modern era and perfect for the whole family. An all singing, all dancing performance that will excite everyone's Christmas Spirit!

TWO by Jim Cartwright

Benchmark Theatre have begun touring Jim Cartwright's comedy play, 'TWO', to colleges and schools that have Performing Arts Departments. The play demonstrates to students the skills necessary for two actors to play 7 characters each, in a very dynamic and fast moving performance.

The play lasts for 1hr 15mins and is accompanied by a 1 hour post-show workshop with the cast. The workshop is based around creating and developing character, using a selection of different acting methods and practitioners from Stanislavski to Grotowski. The performance is technically self contained and can fit into most small drama studios.
